His background includes serving as President and Chief Creative Officer of DMI's Global Brand Marketing division, which he transformed into the company's top profit center. He is also the founder of Pappas Group, a creative agency he built and later sold, which worked with major brands including AARP, Discovery Channel, Hilton, and Toyota.
