UKG and Google Cloud have announced a major expansion of their strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI across UKG's HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions, impacting tens of millions of users globally. By designating Google Cloud as its primary AI and data analytics provider, UKG will integrate Gemini Enterprise, Gemini models, and BigQuery to enhance UKG Bryte AI agents within its Workforce Operating Platform. This collaboration aims to deliver more productive, efficient, and flexible operations through modern employee experiences powered by comprehensive workforce data.
UKG's solutions, trusted by 80,000 organizations, will incorporate Google Cloud's AI suite to introduce specialized agents:
These agents will be accessible directly in UKG tools or via Gemini Enterprise, with A2A protocol ensuring collaboration across providers. Jennifer Morgan, CEO of UKG, said, “Our expanded partnership with Google Cloud builds on the power of UKG’s Workforce Operating Platform, to bring customers a broad range of solutions that drive efficiency and deliver insights that help leaders focus on what matters, their workforce and their business.”
UKG becomes one of the first to deploy Gemini Enterprise internally, centralizing AI for enterprise search and custom agents—like automating client call prep. This boosts productivity across sales, engineering, and support. Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, noted, “Through our expanded strategic partnership with UKG, we will help organizations use Gemini Enterprise and our AI to leverage workplace data insights in new and more meaningful ways.”
Customer integrations will extend Gemini to UKG's HCM suites, enabling conversational queries like “Show overtime trends and recommend burnout strategies,” yielding instant analyses and recommendations.
UKG will use BigQuery and AlloyDB for zero-copy integration of UKG People Fabric data with enterprise datasets, powering custom AI apps that link workforce trends to business outcomes. This unified view enhances Gemini Enterprise experiences, providing a single hub for data search and insights.
A co-developed GTM approach offers end-to-end support from evaluation to implementation. UKG Pro launches on Google Cloud Marketplace this fall, simplifying procurement with existing commitments. Google expands UKG Pro use for its payroll and global management, incorporating Bryte AI for scheduling and planning.
This partnership builds on UKG's 2023 GenAI collaboration, evolving from Vertex AI foundations to agentic systems. Availability: Marketplace launch fall 2025; BigQuery/agent integrations 2026.
UKG and Google Cloud's alliance positions agentic AI as a cornerstone for HR transformation, unlocking workforce potential amid a $68B HCM market.
