UiPath, a global leader in agentic automation, has announced a collaboration with OpenAI to integrate OpenAI’s frontier models, including GPT-5, into the UiPath Platform via a ChatGPT connector. Unveiled at UiPath FUSION 2025 in Las Vegas, this partnership simplifies AI agent development, enhances enterprise workflows with UiPath Maestro orchestration, and establishes a benchmark for evaluating computer-use models. The finance card above shows UiPath’s stock (PATH) at $13.935 USD as of September 30, 2025, up 10.95% from the previous close of $12.56, reflecting strong market support for its AI partnerships.
The UiPath-OpenAI collaboration streamlines AI agent development by integrating OpenAI’s frontier models, including GPT-5, into the UiPath Platform. The ChatGPT connector enables process owners to build and deploy agents without managing complex infrastructure, focusing on business outcomes. UiPath Maestro’s orchestration unifies these agents with other third-party models, leveraging Large Action Models (LAMs) to optimize workflows like customer support or financial reconciliation.
Graham Sheldon, Chief Product Officer at UiPath, stated: “Our platform helps enterprises at every step of their agentic transformation. Whether identifying critical and repetitive processes or building AI agents and orchestrating workflows, we’re focused on enabling our customers to realize impact and ROI from their Agentic AI efforts. ChatGPT’s popularity and industry-leading models, together with the richness of our platform, makes it a natural fit for the many enterprise customers we share.”
Giancarlo “GC” Lionetti, Chief Commercial Officer at OpenAI, added: “We’re moving fast on computer-use agents for enterprises, and evaluations are how we measure progress and set higher standards. Working with UiPath lets us deliver enterprise-grade evaluations and push the industry forward.”
The finance card above shows UiPath’s stock at $13.935, a 10.95% gain from $12.56, reflecting enthusiasm for its AI ecosystem expansions at FUSION 2025. With Q3 2025 revenue of $355M (9% YoY growth) and ARR of $1.607B (17% YoY), UiPath is capitalizing on the $200B automation market, where 85% of enterprises plan AI agent adoption by 2027. OpenAI’s recent $157B valuation and 70% enterprise adoption rate for ChatGPT further enhance the partnership’s potential.
The partnership introduces a benchmark for computer-use models, enabling enterprises to test and compare AI performance in real-world scenarios. This is critical for high-trust sectors like finance, where 90% of firms prioritize secure AI, and healthcare, where automation has reduced case processing times by 30%. The MCP integration allows ChatGPT Enterprise users to leverage UiPath’s automation suite, enhancing workflows like order processing (65% faster in prior telecom use cases).
This collaboration, alongside UiPath’s integrations with Snowflake, NVIDIA, and Google, positions it as a leader in vendor-agnostic automation, driving scalability and trust in AI adoption.
