Telos Corporation has been awarded a $2.2 million contract by a U.S. federal agency to deploy its flagship Xacta® platform, a cyber governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solution. This contract strengthens Telos’ public sector presence, leveraging Xacta’s FedRAMP High environment to streamline compliance, reduce manual workloads, and enhance security oversight for mission-critical operations.
The unnamed U.S. federal agency will utilize Xacta’s comprehensive capabilities to automate compliance with stringent cybersecurity requirements, supported by Telos’ FedRAMP High environment, achieved in July 2025. This environment ensures secure handling of sensitive data, such as financial and personally identifiable information, aligning with federal standards like NIST RMF and FedRAMP. Xacta’s automation reduces manual efforts, accelerates security operations, and enhances oversight, addressing the growing complexity of compliance demands.
“This award underscores the trust federal agencies place in Xacta to meet mission-critical compliance and cybersecurity requirements,” said John B. Wood, chairman and CEO of Telos. The contract builds on Telos’ momentum, following a $3.7M U.S. Air Force extension in June 2025 for GRC automation across top-secret and secret networks.
Telos’ stock (NASDAQ: TLS) closed at $6.976 USD on September 22, 2025, with a market cap of $493.65M, reflecting a 94% increase from $3.59 in September 2024. [See finance card above] The stock’s year high of $7.275 and low of $1.83 highlight strong growth, driven by strategic contracts like this one and a robust Q2 2025 with $36M revenue, up 26% year-over-year. This contract reinforces Telos’ leadership in the federal cybersecurity market, where automation is critical for managing regulatory demands. Analysts from BMO Capital ($4.50 target) and Wedbush ($6.00 target) remain optimistic about Telos’ execution on large contracts.
Xacta, deployed at agencies like the FBI, DHS, and State Department, automates workflows, supports over 100 security standards, and integrates AI for continuous compliance monitoring. Its FedRAMP High authorization and StateRAMP High status position it as a trusted solution for both federal and state governments. The platform’s ability to map controls and streamline assessments, as seen in its use by AWS and Microsoft Azure teams, enhances efficiency and reduces authorization times.
This contract expands Telos’ footprint, aligning with its strategy to deliver scalable GRC solutions to government and commercial clients, further solidifying its role in safeguarding critical operations against sophisticated threats.
