Gong and Microsoft are collaborating to integrate Gong's revenue AI platform with Microsoft's productivity applications, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and the Microsoft Copilot Studio ecosystem. This partnership aims to empower revenue teams with powerful intelligence and automation directly within their existing workflows, enhancing growth and efficiency.

Quick Intel

  • Gong is partnering with Microsoft to integrate its revenue AI with Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents.
  • New integrations will bring Gong's customer interaction data into Microsoft 365, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Customers can now create custom autonomous agents connected to Gong data within Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • The Microsoft Graph Connector for Gong provides revenue insights directly within Microsoft 365.
  • Custom agents can automate tasks like flagging at-risk deals and summarizing pipeline changes.
  • Enhanced bi-directional data synchronization between Gong and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is also introduced.

Integrated Revenue Insights Across Microsoft 365

The newly introduced Microsoft Graph Connector for Gong is set to integrate Gong's comprehensive customer interaction data and revenue intelligence directly into Microsoft Graph. This integration will empower mutual customers by providing crucial insights within the Microsoft tools they utilize daily. Sales professionals will gain the ability to instantly retrieve conversation summaries, action plans, risk alerts, customer objections, competitive concerns, and strategic recommendations without the need to switch between applications. This ensures continuous access to insights and the ability to take action within their Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Office, and Teams workflows. Gong users can now leverage the trusted insights they already depend on within their regular flow of work, making it quicker and easier to respond to customer signals in real time. For more in-depth research or complete context, users can directly link back to Gong to access the full conversation details and additional information.

Custom Autonomous Agents via Microsoft Copilot Studio

Revenue teams can now take advantage of Microsoft Copilot Studio's low-code environment to develop custom autonomous agents that utilize Gong's customer interaction data alongside any CRM within a unified framework. When deployed within Microsoft 365 Copilot, these specifically designed agents can perform complex tasks such as automatically identifying at-risk deals, summarizing changes in the sales pipeline, and streamlining critical revenue workflows. This automation helps to free up revenue teams from administrative tasks, allowing them to focus more on high-value selling activities. For Gong customers, this integration unlocks the capability to enhance agents, whether built within Microsoft or Gong, with deep revenue context. Regardless of where sellers are working, these agents will provide smarter guidance and automate key tasks by leveraging the Gong customer and deal signals that teams already trust.

Enhanced Integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales

These new capabilities build upon existing integrations between Gong and Microsoft, including a new bi-directional data synchronization between Gong and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. This synchronization enriches the context within Dynamics 365 Sales by incorporating activity data from Gong, such as calls, emails, next steps, and key discussion points. With seller activity fully synchronized and enriched in Dynamics 365 Sales, Revenue Operations can generate cleaner reports, sales leaders can prepare more efficiently, and it becomes easier to identify accounts at risk due to inactivity. By eliminating the need for platform switching and manual updates, revenue teams can rely on CRM data as their primary source of truth. For Gong customers, this means their most important customer signals are directly accessible within Dynamics 365 Sales, enabling them to drive revenue initiatives with confidence in the accuracy and completeness of the data.

Charles Lamanna, Corporate Vice President, Business & Industry Copilot at Microsoft, commented, "Microsoft and Gong understand that revenue teams are the driving force behind every organization. Together, we are empowering our joint customers to modernize their operations and make informed, data-driven decisions – seamlessly within the Microsoft tools they already rely on, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Copilot Studio. By integrating Gong's rich customer interaction data into the Microsoft 365 Copilot and agent ecosystem, we are enabling customers to unlock powerful insights and intelligence in a scalable way."

Amit Bendov, CEO at Gong, said, "Revenue teams are under pressure to do more with less as they work to meet ambitious targets with fewer resources and tighter timelines. That's why access to timely, trustworthy data is more critical than ever. We're thrilled to work more closely with Microsoft to arm sellers and developers with the insights they need, where they need them, and turn every customer interaction into a strategic advantage."
