Strengthening the IT Channel in DACH

The collaboration between Keepit and Ingram Micro aims to bolster the IT channel in Germany and Switzerland by providing value-added resellers (VARs), managed service providers (MSPs), and managed security service providers (MSSPs) with access to Keepit’s cloud-native SaaS data protection solutions. Ingram Micro’s extensive channel expertise and platform capabilities will support marketing, sales, and flexible purchasing options for Keepit’s portfolio. “As a leading B2B platform company, Ingram Micro is a key enabler of our channel strategy in the DACH region,” said Cyril VanAgt, VP EMEA Channel at Keepit. “This new relationship enables us to make our vendor-agnostic SaaS data protection solution even more widely available and provides resellers, MSPs and MSSPs with a scalable, high-margin offering for their customers.”

Ensuring Data Resilience with European Data Centers

Keepit’s platform, built for cloud-native data protection, operates independently of global hyperscalers, using its own data centers in Germany and Switzerland. This ensures continuous data access, even if original SaaS systems fail or public cloud data is compromised, supporting European digital sovereignty. “We are pleased to welcome Keepit and its vendor-agnostic cloud platform for SaaS data security as an addition to our growing network and security portfolio and to offer it to our partners as a strategic extension,” said Britta Appel, Head of Category Software at Ingram Micro Germany. “Managed cyber security is an area of growing complexity and we are committed to providing partners with modern, reliable, and secure cloud solutions that meet today’s data security and recovery requirements.”

Empowering Partners through the Keepit Partner Network

Launched in January 2024, the Keepit Partner Network reinforces a “Partner Only” strategy, empowering resellers, MSPs, and distributors across North America, EMEA, and ANZ. The partnership with Ingram Micro aligns with this strategy, enhancing Keepit’s ability to deliver scalable, high-margin data protection solutions. Over 18,000 companies globally trust Keepit for its ease of use and effective backup and recovery capabilities, ensuring business continuity and cyber resilience.

This strategic alliance positions Keepit and Ingram Micro to meet the growing demand for secure, compliant SaaS data protection, strengthening the cybersecurity landscape in Germany and Switzerland.
