Locafy Expands Focus on AI Search Optimization

Locafy stated that Poseidon is designed to help businesses improve visibility within AI-generated search responses and answer engine environments.

The company analyzed performance data from 128 independent State Farm agencies that had been active clients for more than 60 days. The evaluation measured results across 101 insurance-related keywords and more than 2,600 AI search queries across ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

According to the analysis, agencies achieved a 76% overall visibility rate across the three AI search platforms.

Additional findings included:

  • 98% of agencies achieved at least one Top 3 ranking
  • Average ChatGPT ranking position reached 2.9
  • Claude delivered the highest overall visibility rate at 80%
  • Gemini achieved a 71% visibility rate
  • Agencies appeared in Top 10 results between 65% and 75% of the time

The analysis also showed that multiple agencies secured #1 rankings for competitive insurance-related keywords including “insurance agency,” “State Farm quote,” “car insurance,” and “insurance agency near me.”

AI Search Visibility Becomes a Growing Marketing Priority

Locafy believes the results reflect broader changes in digital discovery behavior as consumers increasingly use generative AI platforms to search for products, businesses, and services.

According to Danielle De Frances of LoHi Digital, which manages the participating agencies, AI search visibility is becoming increasingly important for customer acquisition and digital marketing performance.
