PubMatic has appointed John Petralia as Chief Marketing Officer to lead its global marketing efforts and accelerate adoption of its AI-powered advertising technology across CTV, mobile, and omnichannel media.
PubMatic (NASDAQ: PUBM), a leading AI-powered ad tech company, announced the appointment of John Petralia as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Petralia will oversee the company’s global marketing organization as PubMatic continues to scale its intelligent platform for premium connected TV (CTV), mobile app, and omnichannel advertising.
The appointment aligns with a broader shift in the industry, where publishers and brands are transitioning from AI experimentation to production-ready, outcome-focused implementations. PubMatic’s unified platform delivers greater transparency, control, efficiency, and performance by connecting buyers, publishers, data partners, and commerce media networks.

Petralia joins PubMatic with extensive marketing leadership across advertising technology and enterprise platforms. Most recently, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for Enterprise at Coursera, leading marketing for its B2B education platform. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Marketing at The Trade Desk, where he drove global acquisition marketing during a key growth period. Earlier, he spent nearly seven years at Bloomberg leading marketing for data analytics and media businesses.
