Clear Channel Outdoor Expands Purpose-Driven Advertising

The launch of Clear Channel Impact™ reflects the growing demand for brands to demonstrate authentic community involvement beyond traditional advertising campaigns. The initiative provides advertisers with a scalable framework to align marketing objectives with social impact programs while strengthening audience engagement and brand trust.

Unlike conventional sponsorship models, the platform enables brands to allocate a portion of their media investment toward nonprofit causes while continuing to run full-scale OOH advertising campaigns. The initiative supports corporate social responsibility efforts through nonprofit project funding, promotional campaigns and branded content creation.

"Brands are under more pressure than ever to show up authentically in the communities they serve," said Dan Levi, Chief Marketing Officer at Clear Channel Outdoor. "Clear Channel Impact™ gives marketers a way to do that at scale by transforming media investment into something that not only reaches audiences but also makes a tangible and positive difference in their lives. It's an even more meaningful way to think about the role of advertising in our communities."

Partnership With GoodBrand Impact Simplifies Cause Marketing

Clear Channel Outdoor developed the solution in collaboration with GoodBrand Impact to streamline the process of connecting brands with nonprofit organizations. The partnership focuses on reducing the operational complexity traditionally associated with cause-based campaigns while enabling measurable community outcomes.

Through the initiative, advertisers gain access to vetted nonprofit organizations, integrated storytelling capabilities and Clear Channel Outdoor’s national media network to amplify social impact campaigns.

"Many brands support important causes, but struggle to communicate their impact in a way that is both authentic and efficient," said Seth Zimmerman, CEO, GoodBrand Impact. "Our model helps unlock additional funding and storytelling opportunities for communities by connecting brand media dollars with cause-related initiatives that can create measurable local impact, while also giving brands a credible and scalable way to share those stories."

Features of Clear Channel Impact™

The new offering provides brands with several integrated capabilities designed to combine advertising performance with community engagement initiatives, including:

Cause-Driven Campaign Development

Brands can create purpose-led marketing campaigns aligned with social impact priorities and community initiatives.

Nonprofit Partnership Access

The platform connects advertisers with both national and local nonprofit organizations that align with brand values and campaign goals.

Storytelling and Media Amplification

Advertisers can leverage branded content creation and Clear Channel Outdoor’s national OOH media footprint to amplify campaign visibility.

Community Engagement and Measurement

The solution includes community activations, audience engagement opportunities and measurement frameworks to evaluate both social impact and marketing effectiveness.

Building on a History of Community Support

Clear Channel Outdoor stated that the initiative builds upon its longstanding involvement with public service and nonprofit campaigns. The company has previously partnered with organizations focused on public health, safety, education and environmental awareness, including the FBI, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, No Kid Hungry, USO, NHTSA and Project Yellow Light.

"Clear Channel has been an invaluable partner in helping us raise awareness about the power of mentorship," said Adam Vasallo, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. "Expanding this capability to more brands through Clear Channel Impact™ creates a powerful new way to bring attention and resources to the movements that strengthen communities."

With strong early interest from advertisers and nonprofit organizations, Clear Channel Outdoor expects multiple campaigns powered by Clear Channel Impact™ to launch later this year. The initiative positions OOH advertising as a channel capable of delivering both business performance and measurable social impact.
