  • Affle has signed an agreement to acquire select AdColony assets from Digital Turbine.

  • The acquisition includes AdColony's SDKs, technology platform, publisher integrations, brand name, domain, and goodwill.

  • The deal supports Affle's 10X growth strategy and expansion of its AI-powered Consumer Platform.

  • Affle aims to strengthen audience intelligence and improve premium consumer conversions through its CPCU business model.

  • Digital Turbine will continue focusing on its core media, distribution, and intelligence platforms.

  • The acquisition is expected to enhance value for advertisers, publishers, and ecosystem partners globally.

Expanding Affle's Global Consumer Platform

The acquisition represents a strategic step in Affle's efforts to broaden the reach of its Consumer Platform technology stack. By integrating AdColony's established publisher network and SDK footprint, Affle will gain access to a wider range of mobile publishers across global markets.

The additional scale is expected to strengthen Affle's ability to gather richer audience insights, improve data intelligence, and deliver more effective advertising outcomes through its proprietary Cost Per Converted User (CPCU) business model.

"We are excited to announce this strategic acquisition of assets as part of our 10X growth plan," said Anuj Khanna Sohum, Chairperson, MD & CEO of Affle. "The integration of AdColony is a significant step towards driving global scale for Affle's advertisers with premium conversions powered by deeper audience intelligence across all our industry verticals. With our integrated stack, we will unlock greater ROI for our advertisers and publishers alike, and thus drive long-term value for our stakeholders."

Strengthening Audience Intelligence and Advertising Performance

Affle's platform leverages artificial intelligence, proprietary data, and advanced audience intelligence to optimize consumer acquisition and engagement strategies. The addition of AdColony's assets is expected to further enhance these capabilities by providing broader publisher connectivity and increased access to mobile audiences.

According to the company, the expanded intellectual property portfolio and publisher relationships will help improve human-versus-non-human data differentiation, enabling more accurate targeting and higher-quality consumer conversions.

The integration aligns with Affle's focus on delivering measurable outcomes for advertisers while supporting stronger monetization opportunities for publishers.

Digital Turbine Sharpens Focus on Core Platforms

For Digital Turbine, the transaction enables greater focus on its core media and distribution businesses while continuing to invest in its data, intelligence, and exchange platform initiatives.

The company noted that the decision follows its previous efforts to consolidate technology assets after acquiring Fyber and AdColony, ultimately creating a unified exchange platform that now serves as the foundation for DTX.

"We made the strategic decision following our Fyber and AdColony acquisitions to consolidate around a single exchange platform, which became the foundation for what is now DTX," said Bill Stone, CEO of DT. "That decision allowed us to simplify our technology stack, focus our investment, and build a stronger long-term platform. Affle is a natural partner for these AdColony assets, and this transaction creates an opportunity to deepen our commercial relationship, leveraging our respective supply, demand and technology strengths to deliver greater value for advertisers, publishers and partners."

Enhancing Global Reach and Consumer Engagement

Affle believes the acquisition will help strengthen relationships with advertisers and publishers while supporting continued expansion across international markets.

AdColony's established reputation within the mobile advertising ecosystem complements Affle's strategy of delivering personalized consumer experiences through connected devices and AI-driven engagement technologies.

"This acquisition reinforces Affle's commitment to continuously scaling globally and delivering personalized recommendations across the connected consumer journeys," said Sameer Sondhi, CEO of North America and Chief Strategic Investments Officer at Affle. "AdColony brings a long-standing and trusted reputation with publishers globally that complements Affle's broader strategy. The acquisition further strengthens Affle's ability to drive deeper engagement with both existing and new advertisers worldwide. Enhanced reach, combined with richer audience intelligence for premium consumer conversions, will enable truly differentiated impact."

Through the acquisition and its ongoing commercial relationship with Digital Turbine, Affle aims to create a stronger ecosystem for advertisers, publishers, and technology partners while advancing its position in the AI-powered advertising and consumer engagement market.
