adMarketplace, the recognized leader in Native Search advertising, has officially launched the Beta phase of its AI Discover Program, opening its AI chat ad monetization capabilities to a broader network of publisher partners. Building on a successful Alpha debut with Opera AI in October 2025, the Beta marks a significant step in the commercialization of AI chat environments, positioning adMarketplace as the first company to run live AI chat ads at scale on a cost-per-click basis.

adMarketplace's AI Discover Beta Brings CPC-Based Ads to AI Chat at Scale
The shift from traditional search to conversational AI is reshaping how consumers discover and engage with products. As AI chat platforms grow in influence, the question of how to monetize these environments without compromising user trust has become central to the next phase of digital advertising. adMarketplace's AI Discover Program is designed to answer that question with a model built on relevance, transparency, and performance.
From Alpha to Beta: Six Months of Proven Consumer Intent
The AI Discover Beta Program is a direct continuation of adMarketplace's Alpha, which launched on Opera AI in October 2025 as the first live AI chat ad program to operate at scale on a CPC basis. Over the course of the Alpha, adMarketplace processed 700K AI queries and surfaced more than 2 million relevant sponsored placements, indicating that each AI consumer interaction generates roughly three opportunities for brand engagement.
Beyond performance metrics, the Alpha validated a key hypothesis: that relevant ads can actually enhance the AI chat experience rather than detract from it. The quality of adMarketplace's ad relevance proved strong enough that Opera redesigned its browser to give Opera AI greater prominence.
The Technology Behind AI Discover: CIV and Arena
Insights from the Alpha phase led to the development of adMarketplace's proprietary Commercial Intent Vector (CIV) technology. CIV extracts intent signals directly from AI reasoning models, enabling its ad engine, Arena, to select and rank the most relevant sponsored placements in real time. The result is that consumers see accurate, contextually appropriate product information without any disruption to the underlying AI reasoning process.
With more than 200 million indexed product ads, adMarketplace has the advertiser demand volume needed to match consumer intent with precision across a wide range of queries and categories.
Beta Launch Partners and Program Structure
The AI Discover Beta launches with three publisher partners: Opera AI, a leading global privacy browser; Dupe, an AI shopping engine that helps users find similar products at lower prices; and Sezzle, a buy now, pay later platform. adMarketplace has indicated it is actively expanding its publisher partnerships to grow the network further.
Beta partners will be integrated directly into conversation interfaces and will gain access to sponsored placements across multiple AI-native ad formats, including in-chat hover experiences and sponsored results displayed below the chat. Partners will also receive exclusive monthly intelligence reports featuring aggregated insights and benchmarks on emerging consumer behavior in AI environments.
A CPC Model Built for the AI Era
Unlike impression-based advertising models, AI Discover Beta operates entirely on a CPC basis. Advertisers are charged only when a consumer actively clicks through to their site, ensuring that every dollar of spend is tied to a measurable consumer action.
"CPC was the right model for search and it is the right model for AI," said Adam J. Epstein, Co-CEO and President at adMarketplace. "When incentives are aligned, relevance and novelty follow. And that is how trust gets built in a new channel."
"The consumer journey is shifting rapidly because users trust AI discovery," Epstein added. "The right ad engine bolsters that trust by ensuring every sponsored placement is relevant to what the consumer is already asking for."
The Beta program runs from June 2026 through December 2026, operating across a global publisher network that reaches more than 300 million consumers in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
As AI chat continues to evolve into a primary surface for consumer discovery, adMarketplace's AI Discover Program represents a structured, trust-first approach to monetization, one that aligns the interests of consumers, publishers, and advertisers around relevance and measurable performance.
