Announced on July 31, 2025, this round, led by GFT Ventures and Sound Ventures, underscores Knit’s momentum in delivering real-time, researcher-driven insights to major brands like Amazon, NASCAR, and Mars Wrigley.

Funding to Fuel AI Innovation

The $16.1 million Series A round, led by GFT Ventures and Sound Ventures, with participation from Silicon Road Ventures, Osage Ventures, Rise of the Rest, and angel investors like David Kirk (former NVIDIA Chief Scientist) and Gokul Rajaram, will accelerate Knit’s product development. The focus is on new AI-powered features and expanding research use cases to meet market demands. Knit also plans to scale its go-to-market and research teams to support its growing enterprise customer base and enhance international research capabilities. “Enterprise research is a massive market that’s ripe for AI disruption,” said Jeff Herbst, Founding Managing Partner at GFT Ventures.

Researcher-Driven AI Platform

Knit’s platform combines generative AI with human expertise to deliver “report-ready” insights in days, addressing the limitations of traditional market research agencies, which are often slow and costly, and purely AI-driven tools that lack depth. “Today’s enterprise researchers are being asked to do more with less,” said Aneesh Dhawan, Co-Founder and CEO of Knit. “Knit empowers them to deliver fast, cost-efficient insights without sacrificing quality or control.” Knit’s researchers work closely with clients to embed context into the platform, enabling tailored outputs for use cases like rapid concept testing and customer segmentation.

Knit has seen 5X year-over-year growth in 2025, onboarding over 60 enterprise brands, including Amazon, NASCAR, Mars Wrigley, and Overtime. “We’ve always wanted to scale our research efforts, but doing that without losing control over quality or consistency felt impossible, until we started working with Knit,” said Brooks Deaton, VP, Data & Insights at NASCAR. The platform’s ability to enable more studies without additional headcount has driven its adoption among Fortune 500 companies.

Knit’s recent presentations with Mars Wrigley at the Corporate Research Conference and planned sessions with T-Mobile at The Market Research Event in October 2024 highlight its growing industry influence.
