Versa Rated a Strong Performer and Receives Highest Scores Possible in Innovation, Service Provider Multi-tenancy, and Local Deployment Offerings Criteria
Santa Clara, Calif. – Sept. 17, 2025 – Versa, the global leader in Universal Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), today announced it has been included by Forrester Research, Inc., a leading global research and continuous guidance firm, among the most significant solution providers in the SASE market in the newly published report “The Forrester WaveTM: Secure Access Service Edge Solutions, Q3 2025.”1
In the Wave report, Forrester provided detailed analysis and scoring of the eight vendors it considers to be the “top tier of SASE innovation.” According to a Forrester blog by the report author, Andre Kindness, “Over 20 vendors now offer all-in-one SASE platforms, converging networking and security capabilities — like SD-WAN and firewall — into cloud-delivered services. In this evaluative report, [Forrester] filtered down [its] inclusion list to only evaluate SASE innovators that fully integrated SD-WAN, SSE, and ZTNA into cohesive platforms.”2 These evaluated vendors are considered to be among those that “matter most” in the SASE market and are “pushing the boundaries of what SASE can deliver,” according to the report.
A Strong Performer
Versa was characterized as a “Strong Performer” in the group. “With the largest array of remote hardware and connectivity options among vendors in this evaluation, Versa Operating System (VOS) – which contains all the security features Versa offers embedded in the networking software – can also be loaded on servers with different hypervisors, switches, and access points,” the report summarized among Versa’s capabilities. “The company is trying to push Zero Trust as close to the edge as possible."
