Workera has introduced the AI Readiness Index Bundle, a new role-based assessment solution designed to help enterprises measure workforce AI readiness through verified skills evaluations rather than self-reported surveys or course completion metrics. The launch reflects growing enterprise demand for evidence-based workforce intelligence as organizations accelerate AI adoption initiatives.

The AI Readiness Index Bundle enables organizations to assess AI proficiency across multiple workforce personas, from frontline employees to executive leadership, while generating board-reportable insights into workforce capability gaps and upskilling priorities.

  • Workera launched the AI Readiness Index Bundle for enterprise workforce assessment.
  • The platform measures AI readiness using verified, evidence-based assessments.
  • Assessments span five workforce personas from frontline staff to executives.
  • The bundle integrates with more than 250 HRIS, ATS, and LMS platforms.
  • Workera aims to replace self-assessment and course completion-based AI evaluations.
  • Enterprise deployments have assessed over 30,000 participants across 20 countries.

Workera Focuses on Verified AI Workforce Readiness

According to Workera, many organizations continue to rely on outdated methods to evaluate AI readiness, including employee self-assessments, HR data, and training completion records. The company stated that these methods often fail to accurately measure whether employees can effectively apply AI skills in practical business environments.

"We are seeing three distinct levels of AI proficiency emerge across the workforce," said Kian Katanforoosh, founder and CEO of Workera. "Those who use AI the way they once used search; those who use AI as a productivity partner or agent; and those who orchestrate always-on agents around their work, effectively becoming superworkers. The goal of this new AI Readiness Index is to help individuals, organizations, and their boards understand where they stand today, and what it will take to close the gap toward the next level of capability."

The company highlighted research from MIT Sloan Management Review and BCG showing that 70% of organizations report limited or no gains from AI initiatives due to workforce capability gaps. Workera stated that many enterprises deploy generative AI tools and AI literacy programs without validating whether employees can apply those skills effectively in real-world scenarios.

Role-Based Assessments Across Enterprise Functions

The AI Readiness Index Bundle includes assessments designed for five organizational personas: Literate, Practitioner, Engineer, Scientist, and Steward. Each category targets different workforce functions and AI responsibilities across enterprise environments.

The assessments are designed to evaluate practical AI proficiency through evidence-centered measurement rather than multiple-choice testing. According to Workera, the assessments are based on insights gathered from more than one million enterprise assessments conducted across its customer base.

Participants complete role-specific evaluations that measure areas including generative AI fluency, prompt engineering, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI leadership capabilities. Assessment results are delivered through dashboards featuring benchmark comparisons, workforce heatmaps, and capability breakdowns.

Workera also noted that the platform integrates bidirectionally with more than 250 HRIS, ATS, and LMS platforms, including Workday, SuccessFactors, and Greenhouse.

Faster Deployment and Enterprise-Scale AI Skills Intelligence

Unlike traditional workforce assessment programs that may take several months to implement, Workera stated that the AI Readiness Index Bundle can be deployed immediately without extensive customization requirements.

The company shared that one enterprise customer assessed more than 30,000 employees across 20 countries within 60 days, generating workforce AI capability baselines and leadership reporting insights at scale.

Workera emphasized that the bundle serves as an entry point into its broader AI skills intelligence ecosystem, which includes over 100 additional assessments for targeted workforce upskilling and talent development initiatives.

As enterprises continue expanding AI adoption strategies, Workera aims to help organizations align workforce capabilities with evolving AI transformation goals through continuous, evidence-based skills measurement and AI readiness benchmarking.
