Automated governance policy creation, scheduled for future availability, will allow AI tools to draft governance policies in a paused state, ensuring human approval before activation.
In-conversation remediation introduces a controlled workflow where every change is previewed in natural language before execution, ensuring explicit confirmation before any action is taken.
Together, these capabilities aim to unify governance, reporting, and remediation into a single AI-driven interface.
According to ShareGate research, 71% of IT professionals report that their governance workload has increased following the adoption of AI tools. This reflects growing complexity in managing data access, collaboration environments, and security policies across Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
