Rokt has announced the appointment of Sam Dozor as Chief Technology Officer as the company continues expanding its unified AI-driven software platform strategy. The move reinforces Rokt’s focus on real-time decisioning, customer data activation, and AI-powered ecommerce experiences as enterprises shift away from fragmented SaaS environments.
Dozor joins the executive leadership team following Rokt’s acquisition of mParticle in 2025, where he spent more than 13 years helping build the company into a leading customer data platform (CDP) provider.
According to the company, the appointment supports Rokt’s long-term strategy of combining customer data infrastructure, AI-powered decisioning, and ecommerce execution into a unified platform.
Rokt stated that the integration of mParticle’s real-time identity and audience capabilities with the Rokt Brain and ecommerce network allows brands to transform customer data into immediate, revenue-focused actions across what the company describes as “The Transaction Moment.”
The company noted that AI-driven software development cycles are accelerating rapidly, creating competitive advantages for organizations capable of faster experimentation, deployment, and execution.
"We are in the middle of the most significant transformation in how software is built in a generation," said Bruce Buchanan, CEO of Rokt. "AI has collapsed the cost of experimentation and compressed innovation cycles from quarters to weeks, handing a structural advantage to the companies that adapt fastest. Sam's mandate is to make Rokt the fastest-building, most technically excellent engineering organisation in our category."
As CTO, Dozor will oversee engineering operations across the company, including platform infrastructure, security, developer experience, and product scalability.
Rokt stated that his role will focus on accelerating how quickly new platform capabilities are developed and deployed while ensuring the infrastructure can support enterprise-scale global clients.
The company emphasized that its broader AI and customer data strategy is designed to help businesses move beyond static data collection toward real-time execution and intelligent customer engagement.
By combining customer data infrastructure with AI-powered recommendation and decisioning systems, Rokt aims to help brands determine the next best customer action instantly rather than relying on delayed analytics or batch processing models.
"Rokt is building for where the industry is going, not where it's been," said Dozor. "Clients don't win by having more data. They win by having the right data and using it faster and more intelligently. That's the opportunity in front of us, and it's what we're focused on delivering for every client."
The appointment comes during a period of continued expansion for Rokt across ecommerce infrastructure, AI-powered personalization, and transaction-focused advertising technologies.
According to the company, its network is expected to power more than 10 billion transactions in 2026 across thousands of ecommerce businesses globally. Rokt also reported revenue growth exceeding $800 million in 2025.
The company recently announced partnerships with PayPal, Fanatics, Ulta Beauty, Cineplex, Albertsons, and Macy’s, alongside acquisitions including Canal, mParticle, and Aftersell.
Rokt stated that these investments support its broader strategy of delivering integrated infrastructure for customer data activation, AI-powered commerce, and real-time transaction optimization.
