Constant Contact and Canva launch new integration allowing small businesses to design in Canva and publish directly to email, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn via Constant Contact with one click.
Quick Intel
Constant Contact announced today at Canva Create that it has launched an expanded partnership with Canva, introducing new functionality that lets customers seamlessly publish and send emails or social posts directly from within the Canva platform. This feature is available today globally, including in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, and brings together the world's leading design platform and the marketing partner built for small business into one connected experience.
The integration builds on previous functionality that allowed Constant Contact customers to push files into Canva for editing. Now, the new Apps Marketplace experience places Constant Contact directly inside Canva, enabling users to move from design to distribution without switching tools.
One-Click Publishing from Design to Multi-Channel Campaigns
Small business owners, leaders, and entrepreneurs can now create and design content in Canva, then use Constant Contact to send it across email, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The process includes scheduling, automation, and performance reporting already built into Constant Contact.
Lee Ott, Chief Product and Growth Officer at Constant Contact, said: "This is the next step in combining the power of Canva and Constant Contact to help small businesses and nonprofits turn their ideas into action. When you can go from a great design to a campaign that gets you seen by your customers across email and every major social channel in one click, that's not just a better experience. That's a real competitive advantage for the businesses that need it most."
The integration eliminates manual steps such as downloading and re-uploading files. If a typo is spotted after initial export, users no longer lose time fixing it across multiple platforms. Brand assets stored in Constant Contact stay synced to Canva, keeping existing materials readily available.
Roger Coles, Canva Verified Expert and Corporate Trainer, said: "If you're handling your own marketing, every minute matters. Previously, spotting one tiny typo meant 20 minutes disappeared in a cycle of downloading and re-uploading. This integration changes that, giving those 20 minutes back to the business owner."
How the Integration Works
The Constant Contact app on the Canva Apps Marketplace connects directly so that finishing a design is the only step required from the user. Constant Contact then handles delivery across email, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including scheduling, automation, and reporting. Users can select desired channels directly in Canva’s share menu before pushing content to Constant Contact.
This new capability builds upon the existing asset sync feature, which allowed Constant Contact customers to bring their brand assets into Canva for editing. The integration adds the reverse direction: designing in Canva and sending directly into Constant Contact campaigns.
The solution is specifically designed for small businesses and nonprofits that already use Canva for design and need an efficient way to handle distribution, scheduling, automation, and performance tracking. It is available globally, with a strong focus on the SMB and nonprofit segments.
Both new and existing Constant Contact customers can connect their accounts at no additional cost. Standard Constant Contact plan pricing applies. New users who discover Constant Contact through the Canva Apps Marketplace can start a free trial directly from within Canva, with no credit card required.
