  • DeepAI users can now upload images to detect whether they were generated by AI tools, helping identify visual misinformation.
  • TruthScan's proprietary algorithms analyze digital fingerprints, texture inconsistencies, lighting errors, and geometric artifacts common in AI-generated content.
  • Detection results appear within seconds as an added option in DeepAI’s existing interface, with no separate tool required.
  • TruthScan’s models, trained on billions of data points, receive continuous updates to match evolving image-generation technology.
  • The feature supports transparency by distinguishing AI-created content from authentic photography while supporting ethical creative AI use.
  • The integration is live today for all DeepAI users, aligning with the platform’s commitment to practical, responsible AI tools.

Christian Perry, CEO of TruthScan, emphasized the timeliness of the partnership amid growing challenges in assessing visual authenticity. “DeepAI is an early pioneer in AI image generation, and we’re honored to be partnering with them to provide accurate AI image detection to their users,” says Perry. “Users can simply upload any suspicious image to the platform, and TruthScan’s proprietary algorithms will analyze it for signs of AI manipulation,” he said. “The results are delivered within seconds, giving users immediate clarity on what they’re looking at.”

Perry highlighted that the system is designed to keep pace with rapid advances in generative AI. “We’re constantly updating our detection methods to keep pace with advances in image generation technology,” he added.

A DeepAI spokesperson noted the alignment with the company’s mission. “At DeepAI, we’re focused on building high-quality AI tools, and we think helping people spot AI-generated content is a really important use case,” the spokesperson said. “We’re excited to partner with TruthScan to bring image verification to the DeepAI community.”

TruthScan has previously identified viral AI-generated images mistakenly shared as real photographs. The company stresses that its goal is transparency and informed viewing rather than restricting creative AI applications. “We support ethically artistic and creative applications of AI. Our aim is simply to help people know when they’re looking at AI-created content versus authentic photography,” Perry said.

This integration enhances DeepAI’s all-in-one creative platform by adding robust verification capabilities, empowering users to navigate the increasing prevalence of synthetic media with greater confidence.
