Folder-Level Control: Businesses can now attach specific governance rules to a folder that automatically cascade to all subfolders and assets within it.
Custom Metadata Requirements: Define specific metadata fields as required, read-only, or default based on the folder's purpose (e.g., campaign details for marketing vs. SKUs for product teams).
Upload Guardrails: Enforce strict naming conventions, file size limits, and supported formats for specific project directories.
Automated Workflows: Set policies to trigger AI transformations, such as background removal, auto-tagging, or AI descriptions, upon upload.
Asset Protection: Use "validate" functions to block unauthorized deletions, updates, renames, or moves within governed folders to protect live content.
Availability: Path policies are available exclusively on ImageKit’s custom enterprise pricing plans.
