Brus joined Wixted & Company as a communication advisor in 2012 and most recently served as vice president and managing director. During his tenure, he has led business development initiatives, strengthened the firm's strategic planning capabilities and cultivated collaborative partnerships across the industry. Brus was named to the 2025 Des Moines Business Record 40 under 40 class and serves on the board of the PRSA Iowa Chapter. He is also a member of the Iowa Arts Council, appointed by the Governor, and previously served on the advisory board of the Central Iowa Salvation Army.
