Velocitas, a Miami-based integrated marketing and public relations agency, has announced the appointment of Latiffe "Lati" Ghanem as Chief Operating Officer. In the role, Ghanem will work across the agency to strengthen client relationships, serve as a strategic advisor across accounts, spearhead team development and implement processes to support the agency's continued growth.

She brings more than 15 years of experience across corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, consulting and agency leadership.
Her career has bridged the U.S. and Latin American markets, having worked both in-house and at Edelman and JeffreyGroup.
As COO, she will help connect business objectives to communications and marketing strategy while strengthening collaboration behind the work.
Ghanem holds a degree in Communications from Florida International University and is fluent in English and Spanish.

As COO, Ghanem will work closely with account teams and clients across the agency, helping connect business objectives to communications and marketing strategy while strengthening the processes and collaboration behind the work. Her role will also encompass client relationship management, team building, mentorship and development, operational efficiencies, and support for new business and agency growth.
Ghanem's appointment reflects Velocitas' continued focus on strengthening its strategic counsel, client relationships and internal operations as the agency enters its next phase of growth.
