The agency has established itself as a go-to firm for translating complex products into compelling narratives that resonate across traditional and AI-powered channels.

New Leadership Appointments and Promotions

Kate Connor joins as Chief Operating Officer, bringing strategic and operational experience from IRL Ventures (supporting 20+ portfolio companies in consumer, wellness, healthcare, and fintech), Kindbody, and SoulCycle. In her role, she focuses on streamlining agency operations, allowing creative and account teams to prioritize high-impact strategies for clients.

Maggie Squires, with over 12 years at Moxie, has been promoted to Partner. She has led PR efforts for breakout brands including Liquid Death, GOODLES, and Temporal from their early stages.

Rebecca Weiser, an 11-year Moxie veteran, also advances to Partner. She has guided communications for innovative companies such as ŌURA, BillionToOne, and Trove.

Corinna Purtill, who has contributed to Moxie’s direction for 13 years, assumes the role of Managing Partner. She oversees client success, ensures teams maximize emerging technologies, drives business performance, and continues leading growth, operations, and talent initiatives with emphasis on intentional scaling and excellence.

Specialized AI-Era Capabilities

Moxie has developed a dedicated practice in AI search optimization and authority development. This approach helps brands influence how they appear in large language models, generative answer engines, and next-generation discovery systems. By integrating traditional media relations with expert thought leadership, structured content creation, and high-trust distribution, Moxie ensures clients emerge as authoritative voices in AI-generated results.

“Moxie has always been the agency founders call when they want a partner that matches their ambition, and this moment shows what that hustle delivers. Rebecca and Maggie have helped turn breakout brands into household names while building the next generation of talent that keeps us ahead. Corinna has been my partner in growing Moxie from a scrappy few to a 45-person team, and her new role as Managing Partner reflects the vision and culture she’s led across the agency. As our first COO, Kate is tightening how we run the business so our teams can stay locked on bold ideas and big outcomes for clients,” said Taryn Langer, Founder of Moxie Communications Group.

“At Moxie, we’re not just building an agency, we’re building a place where exceptional talent do the best work of their careers together,” said Managing Partner, Corinna Purtill. “A supportive, team-first culture where great ideas can come from anywhere has been our unfair advantage, powering standout results and category-defining exits for our clients. Watching our people grow while our clients hit milestone after milestone is the most rewarding part of this journey.”

The strengthened leadership team underscores Moxie’s dedication to innovation, collaborative culture, and developing future communications leaders while delivering high-impact storytelling that drives both awareness and business results.
