  • MetaRouter appoints Ana Laura Zain (CMO), Jason Bagg (CFO), and Jon Flugstad (CBO) to lead marketing, finance, and commercial growth.
  • The platform operates at the "first mile" of data creation, enabling real-time activation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven experiences while maintaining privacy and governance.
  • Executives bring deep expertise from global platforms in commerce media, data strategy, financial scaling, and retail media/business development.
  • Ana Laura Zain will shape global marketing and category narrative; Jason Bagg will guide financial strategy and operational scale; Jon Flugstad will drive partnerships and go-to-market expansion.
  • MetaRouter addresses enterprise challenges from fragmented tools, walled gardens, and post-cookie realities by providing control, speed, and trust from data inception.
  • The appointments support MetaRouter’s growth as data infrastructure becomes the decisive factor for AI-powered customer engagement and competitive advantage.

The hires align with a broader shift where enterprises prioritize privacy-compliant, high-velocity data foundations over channel-specific or application-layer solutions. MetaRouter’s first-mile approach captures customer signals at creation, ensuring governance and performance before data fragments across clouds, tools, or partners.

“We’re entering a phase where data infrastructure, not just channels or applications, will determine which companies win,” said Nikhil Raj, CEO of MetaRouter. “Enterprises are under pressure to move faster with AI and customer data, but they also need absolute control, security, and privacy from the moment data is created. Ana Laura, Jason, and Jon bring world-class experience building and scaling global platforms at exactly this nexus. Their leadership strengthens our ability to help brands, retailers, and platforms turn first-party signals into better customer experiences, in real time, and at global scale.”

Ana Laura Zain brings over 14 years of international marketing leadership from enterprise technology, data, and commerce platforms, including senior roles at Pentaleap, Comscore, and AppNexus-Xandr (acquired by Microsoft). She will lead global marketing, brand, and communications to position MetaRouter as essential first-mile infrastructure for AI-ready marketing.

“What drew me to MetaRouter was the clarity of the problem it solves,” said Ana Laura Zain, Chief Marketing Officer at MetaRouter. “Enterprises are overwhelmed by data, fragmented systems, and rising privacy expectations. MetaRouter operates at the moment data is created, giving organisations control, speed, and confidence to activate customer signals responsibly. That foundation is essential for the next generation of marketing, commerce, and AI-driven experiences.”

Jason Bagg joins as Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience in financial strategy, corporate development, and scaling data-driven platforms from roles at Wesfarmers, Intrinsic Partners, Myer Family Investments, Macquarie Capital, and Uber. He will oversee financial planning, capital strategy, and operational discipline during rapid global expansion.

“MetaRouter is building critical infrastructure for enterprises navigating an AI-first shift,” said Jason Bagg, Chief Financial Officer at MetaRouter. “The winners will be those who can turn first-party signals into better customer experiences in the moment—without compromising privacy, governance, or trust. MetaRouter’s first-mile approach makes that possible, and I’m excited to help scale a business that brings speed, control, and confidence together at exactly the right time.”

Jon Flugstad assumes the role of Chief Business Officer, drawing on his background in building and scaling commerce and retail media platforms at Moloco and leading Retail Media at McKinsey & Company. He will spearhead business development, strategic partnerships, and global go-to-market efforts.

“Enterprises are re-architecting how data flows through their organisations to support AI, advanced analytics, and real-time customer engagement,” said Jon Flugstad, Chief Business Officer at MetaRouter. “MetaRouter provides the infrastructure layer that makes that transformation possible—giving companies control of their first-party data from the first mile. I’m excited to help scale that capability globally.”

These appointments position MetaRouter to accelerate its mission of delivering privacy-preserving, high-performance data infrastructure that powers smarter marketing, commerce, and AI experiences worldwide.
