Infobip has announced the acquisition of SocketLabs, a U.S.-based email infrastructure provider specializing in high-volume, multi-provider email delivery. The acquisition expands Infobip's AI-first cloud communications platform by adding advanced email deliverability, observability, and analytics capabilities that help enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs) optimize email performance at scale.
Infobip announced the acquisition of SocketLabs as part of its strategy to strengthen its AI-first cloud communications platform and broaden its enterprise email capabilities.
The acquisition enables Infobip to deliver more comprehensive email infrastructure services, helping organizations improve email visibility, monitor deliverability across multiple providers, and simplify large-scale email operations from a single platform.
SocketLabs has built technology focused on vendor-agnostic email observability, intelligent routing, and high-volume email infrastructure. Its platform helps organizations monitor inbox placement, optimize deliverability, and migrate safely between email providers with reduced operational risk.
Infobip plans to integrate SocketLabs' analytics technology into its recently introduced Email Deliverability Agent, further enhancing AI-powered automation and intelligence for enterprise email optimization.
"SocketLabs is a team of highly skilled professionals based in Pennsylvania who have spent years in solving the problems that keep enterprises locked into vendors they've outgrown, giving visibility across email providers, showing what actually reaches inboxes, and enabling safe, low-risk migration," said Silvio Kutić, CEO at Infobip. "Combined with what we already do, this makes us the only provider that can sit across a customer's entire email operation, not just be a part of it. Their customer base is rooted in North America with a growing presence in Latin America, giving us an immediate position in markets where we've been working to grow. We're adding proven expertise and their own technology to what we already do, which means we can move much faster."
The acquisition aligns with Infobip's broader AI-first strategy, enabling organizations to manage omnichannel communications while improving email intelligence through automation.
SocketLabs' customer base spans industries including technology, healthcare, real estate, and e-commerce, processing more than 1.2 billion emails each month for over 2,000 businesses worldwide.
By combining SocketLabs' infrastructure with Infobip's global communications platform, the company aims to offer enterprises and ISVs a unified solution for messaging, customer engagement, identity, authentication, and email operations.
Tim Moore, CEO at SocketLabs, said: "Joining Infobip is the natural next step in a journey we started nearly 20 years ago. Infobip's global scale, carrier relationships, and AI-first platform will allow us to accelerate innovation and expand our email capabilities to businesses worldwide."
The acquisition also strengthens Infobip's footprint in North America while expanding its presence in Latin America through SocketLabs' established customer network.
With enhanced email infrastructure, analytics, and AI capabilities, Infobip continues positioning itself as a comprehensive communications platform capable of supporting enterprise customer engagement across multiple channels while helping businesses improve deliverability, operational visibility, and communication performance.
