GBK Collective, a premier marketing strategy, consumer behavior, and analytics consultancy, has appointed Rebecca Szew as Partner and Chief Client Officer. In this elevated leadership position, Szew will oversee client research design, thought leadership initiatives, and strategic client partnerships, collaborating closely with President of Client Services Ben Rogers to deepen relationships, broaden service capabilities, and drive measurable business impact for the firm’s Fortune 500 clientele.
Rebecca Szew’s promotion reflects her proven track record in tackling intricate client challenges with strategic clarity and rigorous insights. With more than two decades advising major brands across diverse industries, Szew has consistently translated data and research into actionable growth strategies.
“Rebecca is a rare talent who brings both depth and clarity to even the most complex client challenges,” said Jon Greenwood, Co-Founder and CEO of GBK Collective. “Her leadership, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence have shaped how we apply better insights to drive results for our clients. I’m thrilled to see her take on the Chief Client Officer role as we continue to grow and evolve.”
“Rebecca has made an invaluable contribution to GBK’s growth, and we’re excited to see her influence expand even further in this new role,” said Eric Bradlow, Co-Founder of GBK Collective, Vice Dean of AI & Analytics and Chairperson of Wharton’s Marketing Department. “She brings a clear, client-centered perspective to the way we apply insights and data, ensuring our work is not only analytically sound but highly relevant to business outcomes. Rebecca has helped our clients and teams focus on what really matters: using better data to drive smarter decisions.”
Szew’s prior role as EVP of Research and Insights established GBK’s consultative model, guiding high-impact engagements in segmentation, brand equity, communication effectiveness, customer lifetime value, and beyond. Moving forward, she will refine GBK’s client engagement framework, emphasizing hypothesis-driven research and alignment around measurable business outcomes in an increasingly competitive landscape.
“It’s been a true privilege to help build GBK alongside such a talented team,” said Rebecca Szew. “What makes this place so special is our ability to start with a client’s toughest question and create something custom, rigorous, and practical from the ground up. I’m honored to take on this new role and excited to continue supporting our clients as they navigate growth, complexity, and change in an increasingly competitive market.”
Before GBK, Szew held senior positions at Millward Brown and IRI, advising prominent brands including Intel, Starbucks, Genentech, Expedia, and Neutrogena. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and International Business from the University of Arizona and is based in Los Angeles.
