Cuttable, AI-powered creative production platform for performance marketing teams, today unveiled next evolution of platform, designed to help brands move beyond generating ads to understand what works and make smarter decisions about what to create next. Just one year after entering U.S. market, Australian-founded company now generates 40% of revenue from region. Platform evolution comes alongside A$20 million Series A funding round led by Airtree Ventures, marking Cuttable next phase of growth as it moves beyond AI ad generation.
While AI has made producing ads faster and easier, knowing which creative to make next remains challenge. Most tools focus on either generating ads or analyzing their performance, leaving marketers to connect dots between what intend to test, what actually worked and what to create next.
Cuttable brings those pieces together. Its evolved platform connects brand creative assets, customer data and performance history with marketer original intent, building on what brand has already tried rather than starting from scratch with each new creative brief.
Cuttable software built to remove creative as bottleneck for performance marketing teams producing, testing and rebuilding ads at scale. Platform reads brand website, social channels and guidelines to build editable brand strategy and brand kit. From there, marketers can write brief in plain language and receive finished, editable ads, built using existing brand and product assets or Cuttable AI content studio, Shoots, which creates and extends photo and video content.
Finished ads publish directly to Meta Ads Manager, and Cuttable Ad Insights reads performance back from Meta, including thumbstop, click-through rate and return on ad spend, so next brief builds on what worked. It's this continuous feedback loop, rather than creative generation alone, that differentiates Cuttable from tools that separately generate ads or report on performance.
Creative still made way it was thirty years ago, one ad at a time. Making ad never been hard part, it is knowing which one to make next. Building creative production system ecommerce performance marketers have been waiting for.
Across 280,000 ads and more than $320 million in Meta spend run through platform, Cuttable found that one ad in eleven returns ten times its spend or better, and that small number of ads end up carrying entire account. Company data also shows brands increase creative output 3.4 times going into November, underscoring growing pressure to produce and test ads at scale.
In just two years since launching, Cuttable now works with more than 420 brands across United States, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe, including lululemon, Rodan & Fields and Brick. Brands on platform average 4.4 times return on ad spend and see 37 percent lift in account-level return on ad spend after moving to Cuttable. To support growing U.S. business, Cuttable actively hiring and building out San Francisco team.
Airtree, which first invested in Cuttable earlier this year, returned to lead round. One of Australia largest technology investors, portfolio includes Canva, Airwallex, Linktree and SafetyCulture.
Since backed Cuttable seed round, growth been much faster than already very high expectations. World of ad creative being turned on head by AI, and excited to lead round as Cuttable becomes leading system that performance marketers reach for to make content work harder.
With U.S. already emerging as major growth market, Cuttable plans to use latest funding to accelerate expansion and advance next evolution of platform. Focus from here on closing creative loop, helping marketers decide what to make next rather than only how to make it.
