Peraton, a leading provider of technology-enabled services for government and national security, has announced the appointment of Ravi Dankanikote as its new chief growth officer. This strategic move aims to enhance the company's growth initiatives across markets, focusing on aligning capabilities with customer needs in the federal IT landscape.
In his new role, Ravi Dankanikote will spearhead Peraton’s enterprise growth strategy, lead business development across all markets, build and strengthen strategic customer relationships, and ensure alignment between the company’s capabilities and customer challenges.
“Ravi’s ability to align strategy, culture, and execution is exactly what we need at this stage in Peraton's evolution. He’s going to be a catalyst for growth that defines the next chapter of our company," said Chairman, President, and CEO Steve Schorer.
“Our business doesn’t succeed by chasing trends—it thrives by solving real problems with ingenuity and integrity,” said Ravi. “We must lead with a ‘best of’ enterprise mindset while staying deeply connected to our ecosystem of partners and academic collaborators. It’s not just about offering a solution—it’s about offering the right solution, one that’s differentiated, executable, and built on trust.”
With more than 30 years of experience in the federal contracting space—including senior executive roles at SAIC and CACI International—Ravi is known for cultivating high-performing teams, transforming growth cultures, and generating measurable, long-term value. His leadership style stands out for its emphasis on open communication, ecosystem thinking, and principled execution.
Ravi’s appointment signals a shift toward a more collaborative, transparent, and partnership-driven growth model—one that underscores his belief that mutual understanding and strong ethics are essential to both innovation and sustainability. His data-driven, mission-focused approach to growth will be instrumental as Peraton continues to expand its presence and impact across the government landscape.
Ravi has a strong history for civic leadership. He recently served on the Washington chapter of NDIA board of directors, Executive Mosaic, WashingtonExec’s Business Council, AFCEA, and several other nonprofits.
Ravi holds a master’s degree in computer science from Shippensburg University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from R V College of Engineering in Bangalore, India.
This leadership change positions Peraton to further innovate in IT services and technology solutions, driving value for government clients in a competitive market.
