RecordPoint has announced the launch of its Global Partner Program, introducing a formal channel framework that allows partners to resell, co-sell, and refer the company's data and AI governance platform. The move marks a strategic shift to a channel-first business model as organizations increase investment in data governance to support enterprise AI adoption.

RecordPoint Shifts to a Channel-First Growth Strategy

The new Global Partner Program is designed to help technology partners monetize growing demand for data and AI governance services. According to RecordPoint, enterprises deploying AI increasingly recognize that effective AI governance depends on strong data governance foundations.

The company believes this convergence is changing enterprise buying behavior, with organizations seeking integrated data, compliance, and AI governance strategies rather than isolated software products.

"Every regulated organisation deploying AI right now is discovering the same thing: you cannot govern AI without first governing your data."

"Data governance and AI governance have converged into a single conversation in every boardroom. AI is only as trustworthy as the data underneath it, and that realisation has turned data governance from a compliance line item into one of the fastest-growing budget priorities in enterprise IT." Anthony Woodward, CEO of RecordPoint

Two Partner Tracks for Resellers and Advisors

RecordPoint's program introduces two participation models.

The reseller track includes four tiers: Aggregator, Certified, Select, and Premier. The entry-level Aggregator tier has no revenue requirement and focuses on software procurement and fulfillment, while higher tiers provide increased margins tied to revenue commitments and program engagement.

A separate referral and co-sell track allows partners to work alongside RecordPoint's direct sales organization. All participating partners must complete technical and sales certifications before transacting, with the company aiming to maintain consistent customer expertise across its ecosystem.

RecordPoint emphasized that the platform complements partner services rather than competing with them, allowing partners to retain ownership of implementation services, governance frameworks, and customer relationships.

Expanded Enablement and Microsoft Co-Sell Support

The program will be led by Christian Lucarelli, Vice President of Global Partner Sales & Strategy, who joined RecordPoint earlier this year after nearly a decade in senior partner leadership roles at Nintex.

"We've built this program so partners can monetise the data and AI governance opportunity from day one. Certified enablement, deal registration, joint marketing and a customer book of named logos partners can lead with — the infrastructure is all there." Christian Lucarelli, VP Global Partner Sales & Strategy, RecordPoint

To support partner growth, RecordPoint is launching a dedicated partner portal with training tracks covering sales, commercial, technical, and delivery capabilities. The company is also providing partner marketing funds, co-branding resources, deal registration, and access to Microsoft's co-sell motion.

Addressing Enterprise Demand for AI Governance

RecordPoint says the channel expansion reflects a broader market shift in how organizations purchase governance technology.

"Organizations don't want to buy point software anymore. They want a partner who can advise on their entire data and AI strategy. RecordPoint provides the technology layer, and our partners bring the consulting, frameworks and implementation services that wrap around it. Together, that's the complete offering regulated organizations are asking for." Anthony Woodward, CEO of RecordPoint

The program is available globally to systems integrators, managed service providers, information governance consultancies, Microsoft 365 advisors, cloud transformation firms, and large advisory organizations.

As enterprises continue scaling AI initiatives, RecordPoint is positioning its partner ecosystem to deliver combined technology, consulting, and governance services for regulated industries worldwide.
