This upgrade replaces legacy systems with an open, high-performance network that eliminates vendor lock-in and supports scalable operations for IPNexia’s more than 3,000 enterprise customers.
IPNexia, a leading “Integroperator” in Belgium, previously struggled with aging hardware, vendor dependency, and scalability constraints. The collaboration with Deca Consulting and Edgecore Networks delivered a future-ready solution that modernizes the entire datacenter network while prioritizing openness, automation, and performance.
The deployed spine-leaf topology creates a predictable, low-latency environment with a non-blocking 100G fabric. This design eliminates legacy aggregation layers, enabling consistent performance across the network and effortless horizontal scaling as demand grows.
Edgecore’s enterprise switches running Broadcom’s Enterprise SONiC provide a stable, open platform that frees IPNexia from proprietary constraints. This approach ensures long-term flexibility, allowing the organization to adapt hardware and software choices independently to meet changing requirements.
Zero-touch provisioning combined with NetBox-integrated Ansible automation streamlines network deployment and management. Infrastructure-as-Code practices and version-controlled configurations reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and accelerate service delivery for multi-tenant and high-bandwidth environments.
The project positions IPNexia with a scalable, high-performance infrastructure capable of supporting enterprise customers across Belgium without disruption during future expansions.
