H3 Zoom, a Singapore-based deep tech company focused on AI-powered inspection and asset intelligence for the built environment and critical infrastructure, has announced the final close of its oversubscribed USD 3.6 million Series A funding round. The investment reflects growing confidence in AI-driven infrastructure management solutions as asset owners increasingly shift toward data-led, automated inspection systems.

  • H3 Zoom raises USD 3.6M Series A in oversubscribed funding round
  • Led by JRE VENTURES with participation from SGInnovate, M7 Holdings, and others
  • Focus on AI-powered inspection and asset intelligence for infrastructure
  • Uses computer vision, robotics, drones, and vision-language AI models
  • Funds will support expansion across Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Southeast Asia
  • Aims to scale AI-driven, standards-based infrastructure inspection workflows

The funding round was led by JRE VENTURES, the corporate venture capital arm of East Japan Railway Company, with participation from SGInnovate, M7 Holdings, AngelCentral syndicate members, Moringa Ventures, and Lotus One Investment. The oversubscribed nature of the round highlights strong investor interest in AI applications for infrastructure safety, maintenance efficiency, and operational intelligence.

Scaling AI for Infrastructure Intelligence

H3 Zoom develops AI-powered inspection software designed to transform how buildings and infrastructure assets are monitored and maintained. The company combines computer vision, proprietary vision-language models, drones, robotics-enabled data capture, and workflow automation to replace traditional manual inspection processes with scalable, data-driven systems.

Its platform is used across high-rise buildings, commercial properties, transport infrastructure, and public-sector environments, enabling asset owners to move toward structured, traceable inspection intelligence instead of fragmented reporting methods.

Expanding Across Asia-Pacific Markets

The newly raised capital will support H3 Zoom’s expansion across key Asian markets, including Japan, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, and broader Southeast Asia. The company also plans to strengthen its engineering capabilities, accelerate product development, and enhance enterprise integrations across the infrastructure lifecycle.

This expansion aligns with growing regional demand for digital infrastructure management solutions, particularly in markets with aging assets and increasing safety and compliance requirements.

AI-Driven Inspection and Automation Platform

At the core of H3 Zoom’s platform is its ability to unify inspection workflows using AI and automation technologies. The system leverages computer vision and robotics-assisted data collection to detect defects, standardize reporting, and reduce reliance on manual inspections.

By transitioning from labor-intensive processes to AI-assisted workflows, organizations can reduce inspection time, improve accuracy, enhance safety, and lower operational costs associated with asset monitoring.

Investor Confidence in Deep Tech Infrastructure

Investors participating in the round highlighted the strategic importance of AI in infrastructure management. JRE VENTURES emphasized the technology’s potential to improve safety and sustainability across large-scale asset portfolios, while SGInnovate underscored its role in addressing global infrastructure challenges through deep tech innovation.

Other investors pointed to H3 Zoom’s strong customer traction, repeat business potential, and growing regional adoption as key indicators of long-term scalability.

Toward AI-Native Infrastructure Management

H3 Zoom aims to evolve into a regional operating layer for infrastructure intelligence, where inspection data becomes continuously structured, traceable, and actionable over time. Future development includes AI engineering copilots, multimodal inspection workflows combining imagery and voice data, and expanded robotics-assisted capabilities.

This approach reflects a broader shift toward AI-native infrastructure management systems that enable predictive maintenance, improved decision-making, and more efficient asset lifecycle management.
