Aspect, a provider of cloud-based workforce management solutions, has announced a significant leadership transition and governance change. Aspect appoints Jeff Kupietzky as Interim CEO, succeeding founder Darryl Kelly.
Darryl Kelly transitions to a Strategic Advisor role, effective January 1, 2026.
A new independent Board of Directors is formed with Tom Manning as Chair.
The board brings deep enterprise software, operations, and governance experience.
The transition is described as a planned move to build on the company's foundation.
Aspect confirms no disruption to customer services, delivery, or commercial agreements.
Founder Darryl Kelly, who led Aspect through a period of transformation and repositioning, will step into a Strategic Advisor role to ensure continuity. Kelly framed the change as a natural progression, stating, “Aspect is starting a new season, building upon the strong foundation we’ve created together. This transition is about creating space for the right leadership to carry that vision forward. Our mission and culture remain intact, and I’m excited to see the company continue to grow and go even further.”
Interim CEO Jeff Kupietzky, an experienced software executive with a recent interim CEO role at Glassbox, emphasized the company's strengths, saying, “I’m honored to step in and lead Aspect at this moment. Aspect has a strong foundation, a talented team, and a grand vision. I look forward to working closely with the organization to build on that momentum.”
Concurrent with the CEO change, Aspect has established a new independent Board of Directors, bringing a combined 90 years of relevant experience. The board comprises:
Tom Manning (Chair): Former Chairman and CEO of Dun & Bradstreet.
Louis Summe: Co-Founder and former CEO of cloud contact center platform LiveVox.
Nicole Anasenes: Former CFO/COO at ANSYS, Squarespace, and Infor.
Tom Manning, Board Chair, outlined the board's role, noting, “As we step into Aspect’s next phase, a board that pairs operational rigor with strategic vision is essential. We look forward to combining our experience with Aspect’s momentum to accelerate the company’s existing strategies and long-term strategic vision.”
Aspect has confirmed that the transition will not impact its services, delivery, or commercial agreements. The company remains focused on its core mission of providing intelligent workforce management solutions to help complex organizations optimize their teams and operations. This restructuring positions Aspect with seasoned interim leadership and an experienced board to guide its next phase of growth and execution.
