  • Forty newcomers joined the top 100 this year, including Cognizant, Siemens, Visa, and Geico, reflecting ongoing employer commitment to flexible work options.

The annual ranking highlights employers that demonstrated the strongest and most consistent hiring for remote and hybrid professional roles throughout 2025. FlexJobs defines remote jobs as those allowing workers to perform duties from home either fully or partially, encompassing a wide range of industries and career levels.

Leading Companies Prioritizing Remote Work TELUS secured the number one spot, offering remote opportunities in customer service, bilingual roles, computer and IT, and research. Elevance Health and Lockheed Martin followed closely, with strong showings in healthcare and defense-related fields. Long-standing participants like Stride, a provider of personalized online education, continue to emphasize location flexibility as integral to workforce empowerment and impact.

"Remote work at Stride isn't just a perk. It's how we empower passionate teams across the country to make meaningful impact every day," said Val Maddy, Chief Human Resource Officer at Stride. "Our employees collaborate from living rooms, home offices, and everywhere in between to support learners nationwide. We're honored to be recognized by FlexJobs again, and proud to be one of the few companies to make this list every year since 2014."

The inclusion of 40 new companies underscores sustained employer investment in remote talent, even as flexible work evolves.

Top Career Categories Driving Remote Opportunities Project management led remote job postings in 2025, overtaking the historically dominant computer and IT category. Both areas experienced substantial growth, with postings roughly doubling year-over-year. Operations, sales, and business development each grew by more than 20%, while accounting and finance showed modest increases. Medical and health, communications, and marketing maintained steady demand to secure top-10 positions, illustrating consistent remote hiring across key professional fields.

In-Demand Remote Job Titles and Levels Account Executive emerged as the most frequently posted remote role in 2025, followed by Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Project Manager. The list reflects strong demand in sales, technology, and management functions, with executive assistants, customer service representatives, and product marketing managers also ranking highly. Experienced-level positions dominated at 67%, while manager (17%) and senior-level (9%) roles together accounted for over a quarter of listings. Entry-level opportunities comprised the remaining 7%.

Popular job seeker searches on FlexJobs aligned closely with these trends, led by data entry, customer service, virtual admin, medical and health, and project management.

"Remote work has evolved significantly over the past several years, but workers' demand for job flexibility has remained constant," said Toni Frana, Career Expert Manager at FlexJobs. "We're honored to recognize the employers leading the way for remote work in 2026. These companies not only understand the critical role flexibility plays in retaining talent across career levels, but also are clearly committed to a more supportive and inclusive future of work."
