YuJa, a prominent provider of accessibility, video management, and test proctoring solutions, has announced the expansion of its Verity Test Proctoring Platform. The introduction of the Candidate AI Interview Module extends the platform's proctoring capabilities into the recruitment and hiring space. This new module is designed to help organizations and government agencies maintain the integrity of online interview processes by preventing unauthorized assistance and ensuring a fair evaluation of a candidate’s expertise.
YuJa Verity now includes a dedicated Candidate AI Interview Module for hiring.
AI algorithms detect multiple people, suspicious objects, and secondary devices.
Facial recognition technology is utilized for AI-enhanced candidate ID verification.
Comprehensive lockdown features restrict screen capture, downloads, and unauthorized tabs.
The module integrates directly with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
Interviewers can customize severity levels for flags raised during proctored sessions.
The YuJa Candidate AI Interview Module leverages advanced proctoring engines to analyze the interview environment in real-time. Using AI-infused algorithms, the system can identify the presence of multiple individuals or prohibited secondary devices such as mobile phones and laptops. To ensure the person interviewed is the correct applicant, the platform requires a 360-degree room scan and uses facial recognition for identity verification.
These automated checks are designed to provide a secure environment without requiring complex technical overhead for the hiring team. By monitoring audio, video, and screen activity, the platform creates a comprehensive record of the session, allowing HR professionals to review candidate behavior and environmental flags with a high degree of accuracy.
To prevent candidates from accessing external help, the platform includes rigorous keyboard and screen restrictions. This includes disabling spell-check, clipboard functions, file downloads, and right-click actions. Additionally, the system prevents candidates from opening unauthorized browser tabs, extensions, or virtual machines. Interviewers have the flexibility to set severity levels for specific flags, enabling them to tailor the proctoring experience based on the specific requirements of the role.
The platform is built to fit into existing workflows, offering seamless integration with major video conferencing applications like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. This allows Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) users to access these proctoring tools within the communication interfaces they already use.
“We are prepared to help organizations and agencies make confident, informed hiring decisions that will drive growth and innovation," said YuJa’s Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Arora. “YuJa Candidate AI offers our clients a comprehensive set of tools and simplifies the interview experience without complex technical requirements.”
