Novaworks, an AI-native provider of Core HR technology, officially launched its Total Workforce Management solution today at ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2026 conference in Las Vegas. Built directly on ServiceNow’s enterprise AI infrastructure, the platform introduces a "Core HR SuperAgent," specialized "Special Agents," and a "Policy Advisor." The solution is designed to serve as a unified operating layer that manages full-time employees, contractors, and AI agents within a single, governed environment.
Strategic Foundation: Built on ServiceNow to leverage its scalability, security, and "Now Assist" AI capabilities.
Core Product Suite: Includes Nova HR Concierge (agentic workflows), Nova Special Agents (hyper-personalization), and Nova Policy Advisor (proactive compliance).
Early Adopter: Bell Canada subsidiary Ateko, a ServiceNow Elite Partner, is among the first to implement the platform.
Financial Backing: Launched in March 2026 with an $8M seed round led by Stalwart Ventures, with participation from ServiceNow Ventures.
Leadership: Founded by the team behind Hitch Works (sold to ServiceNow); Meg Bear (former SAP SuccessFactors President) recently joined the Board.
Governance: All AI agents are routed through ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower to ensure enterprise-grade visibility and security.
As the modern enterprise increasingly relies on a mix of full-time staff, gig workers, and autonomous AI agents, traditional HR systems have struggled to maintain a "single pane of glass" view. Novaworks addresses this by treating AI agents as first-class citizens of the workforce. By deriving context from every worker type, the platform allows HR to transition from managing manual transactions to orchestrating high-level business outcomes.
"When you can derive context from every aspect of your workforce, you can scale hyper-personalization across the enterprise," said Kelley Steven-Waiss, CEO and Co-Founder of Novaworks.
The platform is organized to solve specific operational, experiential, and legal challenges:
Nova HR Concierge: Transforms standard HR centers of excellence (onboarding, benefits, transitions) into agentic workflows. These agents operate with built-in guardrails, allowing for speed without losing corporate governance.
Nova Special Agents: Focuses on the "Hyper-Personalized" experience. It tailors the HR interface for each worker—whether they are a corporate executive, a contractor, or a deskless worker—ensuring they only see what is contextual to their specific role.
Nova Policy Advisor: Automates compliance. Instead of waiting for a manual audit, the system updates workforce records in real-time as internal policies or external regulations change, providing "compliance as a service."
By building on ServiceNow rather than attempting to replace it, Novaworks provides an additive intelligence layer. This approach appeals to IT leaders who prioritize security and technology consolidation. AI routing through Now Assist and governance via the AI Control Tower provides a "defensible" AI transformation story for CEOs and CFOs to present at the board level.
Lukas Lhotsky, President of Ateko, noted: "Managing a workforce that now includes employees, contractors, and AI agents is a real operational challenge... The implementation process surfaced workforce complexity in our own operations that we had not previously quantified."
