Aurora Payments, a full-service payment technology provider, today announced the appointment of Dominic Litten as Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Litten will lead the company’s commercial strategy, overseeing sales, partnerships, and marketing to expand Aurora’s reach and accelerate growth across key verticals, enhancing SaaS platforms and IT solutions for embedded commerce in SMB financial services.
Litten joined Aurora in February 2025 and has quickly played a central role in strengthening go-to-market execution, advancing Aurora’s ISV and embedded commerce strategy, and aligning commercial operations with the company’s product-led growth model.
“Dominic has been instrumental in Aurora’s evolution this year,” said Derek Dean, Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Payments. “His experience building high-performing teams, forging strategic partnerships, and driving payments adoption uniquely position him to lead our commercial organization into its next phase of growth as we continue scaling as a modern, product-led fintech platform.”
Prior to Aurora, Litten held senior leadership roles at EverCommerce, where he oversaw marketing, third-party partnerships, and payments activation. There, he drove growth initiatives across multiple vertical SaaS and MarTech platforms, developing deep expertise in partner ecosystems and merchant enablement. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in digital marketing, demand generation, SaaS, and financial services, with a proven track record of accelerating revenue and expanding market presence.
This expertise aligns with Aurora's SaaS-driven payment infrastructure, enabling seamless IT integrations for risk management and capital access in diverse business verticals.
“Aurora has established itself as a leader with a strong culture, innovative products, and a growing partner ecosystem,” said Dominic Litten. “I’m excited to build on this foundation by deepening customer relationships and driving the next phase of commercial growth for both merchants and ISVs.”
This key appointment underscores Aurora’s continued investment in executive leadership, following the addition of Avin Arumugam as Chief Product and Technology Officer in April and Ryan Cross as Chief Financial Officer in July.
These strategic hires reinforce Aurora's position as a comprehensive fintech provider, leveraging SaaS tools to support embedded commerce solutions that streamline financial operations for SMBs across industries.
Aurora Payments' appointment of Dominic Litten as CCO signals a robust trajectory for commercial expansion, capitalizing on his proven fintech acumen to forge deeper ISV alliances and merchant engagements. As the company scales its integrated payment ecosystem—processing $12 billion annually for over 27,000 merchants—this leadership move promises accelerated innovation in SaaS-enabled financial infrastructure, driving sustainable growth and efficiency for technology-dependent businesses.
