Bringing more than three decades of leadership experience, Barlow will contribute industry expertise as Corgi continues developing AI-driven insurance solutions for specialized commercial segments.
Corgi Insurance has strengthened its leadership capabilities by bringing onboard Robert E. "Rob" Barlow Jr., an experienced insurance executive with extensive expertise in specialty commercial insurance programs.
Barlow has built his career serving community associations, condominium associations, homeowners associations, active adult communities, resorts, high-rise properties, and other habitational risks. His experience is expected to support Corgi's strategy of modernizing insurance infrastructure while expanding coverage options for underserved property insurance markets.
"Rob's track record in both community association insurance and broader brokerage operations makes him an important voice as we continue building insurance products for complex, underserved segments of the market. His perspective will help us better understand the needs of brokers, property owners, associations, and businesses as we scale our platform."Nico Laqua, Co-Founder and CEO of Corgi
Most recently, Barlow held a leadership position at RealManage Insurance Services, where he helped establish the company's insurance division from the ground up. During his tenure, the business generated approximately $20 million in bound premium while expanding through broker partnerships and specialized insurance programs for community associations.
Throughout his career, Barlow has also held senior leadership roles at Acrisure, NFP Property & Casualty, Brown & Brown Insurance, and Wachovia Insurance, now part of Wells Fargo.
Across these organizations, he managed operations generating between $1.5 million and $30 million in revenue, oversaw multiple office locations, and led teams responsible for significant annual business development and client growth.
Corgi stated that Barlow's expertise in underwriting, brokerage operations, and specialty insurance markets aligns with its efforts to modernize insurance distribution through AI-powered infrastructure.
The company aims to simplify underwriting, policy placement, and customer servicing while helping carriers, brokers, and distribution partners operate more efficiently across complex insurance segments.
"Community association insurance is a highly specialized market where coverage quality, carrier relationships, and operational execution matter. I'm excited to support Corgi as it applies technology, underwriting intelligence, and modern infrastructure to create better insurance experiences." Robert E. "Rob" Barlow Jr.
As demand grows for technology-driven insurance platforms, Corgi continues investing in leadership and industry expertise to expand its offerings across community association and commercial property insurance markets.
