Transforming AXA’s Investment Operations

SimCorp One provides AXA’s investment and risk management teams with a real-time, consolidated view of positions across all group entities, eliminating operational friction and enabling seamless investment monitoring. “We’re not just implementing a platform – we will transform how we operate,” said Jean-Baptiste Tricot, AXA’s Group Chief Investment Officer. The platform’s unified data model balances portfolio management with accounting standards, ensuring consistent oversight and compliance with regulations like IFRS17.

The Axioma analytics suite, integrated into SimCorp One, enhances risk management with advanced tools like the Worldwide Equity Factor Risk Model, which uses machine learning to uncover hidden risk exposures. This supports AXA’s need to optimize portfolio risk across public and private markets, aligning with its global insurance business requirements.

AXA will leverage SimCorp Managed Business Services for Data Management and Investment Operations, ensuring timely access to market and reference data and comprehensive asset servicing. This allows AXA to focus on high-value activities, simplifying its technology stack and enhancing scalability. “SimCorp’s technology leadership and insurance expertise give us confidence that the platform will scale with our evolving needs,” Tricot added.
