Orion has announced a major growth milestone, surpassing $6.6 trillion in assets under administration (AUA), reflecting a 29% increase since reaching the $5 trillion mark a year ago. The wealth technology provider also reported rapid adoption of its AI-native ecosystem, supporting more than 8.6 million technology accounts while nearly doubling its wealth management assets year over year to $211 billion.

Alongside these milestones, Orion has expanded its Denali AI platform into three offerings designed to help financial advisory firms increase productivity, automate workflows, and accelerate organic growth. The company also confirmed that AI capabilities will now be integrated into every Orion product at no additional cost.

Orion Reports Strong Growth Across Wealth Management Platform

Orion continues to strengthen its position in the wealth technology market with significant growth across its platform. According to the company, clients using Orion experienced nearly 40% faster growth during 2025 compared to advisors not using the platform.

The company believes AI-driven productivity can play a key role in helping advisory firms expand capacity while improving client service. Citing industry productivity benchmarks, Orion noted that advisors who effectively redeploy time saved through AI into client engagement could potentially support up to 40% more revenue.

"Our clients are among the most forward-thinking firms in the industry, and their success is what's carried Orion past $6 trillion," said Orion CEO Natalie Wolfsen. "Orion clients grew nearly 40% faster in 2025 than non-Orion advisors, and we designed Denali to help extend that advantage. Kitces’ productivity benchmarks suggest that if advisors fully redeploy AI-enabled time savings into client meetings, they could support up to 40% more revenue. That growth potential shouldn't depend on advisors piecing together their own AI strategy. A technology partner should deliver high-impact options for firms to drive strategy, bring the right innovations together, and embed AI seamlessly into the platform they already trust, so advisors can focus on serving clients and growing their firms."

Denali AI Expands into Three Offerings

Orion has expanded Denali into three options that align with firms at different stages of AI adoption while leveraging the company's unified data platform.

Powered by Denali introduces AI capabilities directly within Orion products such as Redtail CRM, portfolio accounting, trading, compliance, risk management, and financial planning. Advisors can ask questions, receive client-specific recommendations, and automate routine administrative tasks.

Denali Solutions offers connected AI capabilities tailored to each firm's business strategy. Features include proposal generation, portfolio opportunity alerts, prospect prioritization, revenue and billing insights, cash-need alerts, RMD tracking, automated meeting preparation, and AI-powered note-taking.

Denali AI, initially introduced earlier this year, extends AI orchestration across an entire advisory firm by connecting Orion products with third-party integrations to automate firm-wide workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Embedded AI Focuses on Advisor Productivity

Orion emphasized that AI should be seamlessly integrated into advisors' daily workflows instead of existing as a separate application or subscription. Every Orion client will receive built-in Denali AI features, while organizations requiring advanced customization or enterprise-scale capabilities can upgrade as their AI strategies evolve.

The platform has been designed with governance and transparency in mind. Orion stated that all AI-generated outputs remain permissioned, auditable, and explainable, supporting compliance requirements across financial services organizations.

Orion Strengthens AI Governance with ISO 42001 Certification

To reinforce trust in its AI platform, Orion recently achieved ISO 42001 certification, becoming compliant with the international standard for AI management systems. The certification reflects the company's focus on responsible AI deployment and governance as financial advisory firms increasingly adopt AI-powered technologies.

"Most of an advisor's day still goes to work that isn't advice – meeting prep, follow-ups, and reconciling data across disconnected systems," said Reed Colley, President of Orion Advisor Technology. "Denali handles that work in the background, turning Orion's trusted data foundation and system of record into a system of intelligence. AI shouldn't live in a separate app or require a separate invoice — so Denali is built into every Orion product and in every client's hands, with the freedom to configure and orchestrate it as their firm grows. That reclaimed time is capacity to deepen client relationships and drive new business — and because Denali is embedded, open, and governed, firms can move fast with the trust our industry requires."
