Mike Robinson steps into the CEO role with over three decades of experience, including leadership positions as CEO, CFO, and board director across public and private companies. His expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and post-restructuring growth positions him to guide Mitel through its next phase. “Mitel has made tremendous progress under Tarun’s leadership, and I’m grateful for the strong foundation he and the team have built,” said Robinson. “My priority is to move quickly through this next phase by listening and engaging with employees, customers, and partners.”
Tarun Loomba, who joined Mitel in 2020 as Chief Product Officer and became CEO in 2021, led the company through significant milestones, including the acquisition of Unify and a successful financial restructuring. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, from navigating the pandemic to acquiring Unify to completing a successful restructuring,” said Loomba. Under his leadership, Mitel solidified its position as a market leader, powering over 70 million seats in more than 100 countries.
