dynaCERT Inc., a leader in carbon emission reduction technology, has appointed John Amodeo as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. This strategic move strengthens dynaCERT’s leadership as it pursues global expansion of its proprietary HydraGEN™ and HydraLytica™ technologies.

John Amodeo’s Expertise

John Amodeo brings over 40 years of business experience, particularly in the North American metals and steel industry. His career includes key roles such as:

Amodeo is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada and CPA Ontario, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, and attended Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development. His expertise in financial strategy and global business development aligns with dynaCERT’s goals to scale its climate change mitigation products, including the HydraGEN™ technology for reducing carbon emissions in internal combustion engines.

Leadership Transition

Amodeo joined dynaCERT’s Board of Directors in July 2025 and served as Chair of the Audit Committee until resigning from that role to assume the CFO position. He continues to serve as a Director, contributing to the company’s international and domestic expansion strategies. Jean-Pierre Colin, who served as interim CFO since March 31, 2023, will continue as Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and Director, ensuring continuity in leadership.
