CalAmp has announced the general availability of its Google Pub/Sub integration for CalAmp Telematics Cloud. This development gives enterprise customers using Google Cloud a direct, real-time streaming pipeline for enriched telematics data, helping transportation and logistics organizations reduce latency in decision-making and operational responses.

Addressing Data Latency Challenges in Fleet Operations

Fleets today face increasing pressure to improve service levels while controlling costs. Data latency has emerged as a major operational constraint. The new Google Pub/Sub integration allows CalAmp customers to stream telematics data into Google Cloud continuously, eliminating delays caused by traditional batch processing and minimizing the need for expensive, hard-to-scale custom data pipelines.

Expanded Cloud Integration Options

This launch broadens CalAmp’s cloud delivery capabilities by adding Google Cloud support alongside existing options for AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Apache Kafka-based environments. The integration enables seamless connectivity into customers’ existing technology architectures.
