Hexaware Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with Factory to help enterprises adopt agent-native software development across complex engineering environments. The collaboration integrates Factory's Droid platform into Hexaware's delivery operations, allowing software agents to participate directly in coding, testing, modernization, and repository management activities.
Before launching the offering to clients, Hexaware deployed Factory Droids within its own engineering organization, using the platform to validate workflows, governance controls, and productivity improvements.
As organizations seek faster software delivery and modernization, the partnership focuses on embedding AI agents into existing software development life cycle (SDLC) processes rather than introducing separate tooling environments.
Hexaware will train its delivery teams to deploy and manage Factory Droids across client environments, including integrations with GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines. Additional enablement areas include domain-specific agent configuration, compliance-aware code generation, audit-ready documentation, and measurement of engineering productivity and quality improvements.
The first wave of deployments is aimed at industries where engineering complexity and governance requirements are especially demanding.
In professional services, Hexaware is applying Droids to legacy modernization, technical debt reduction, and large-scale refactoring initiatives. In banking and financial services, the focus is on modernizing applications within highly regulated environments where documentation, traceability, and compliance are critical.
