Matillion has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointments of Girish Pancha as Chief Executive Officer and Sanjay Krishnamurthi as Chief Development Officer. Pancha brings more than two decades of experience building enterprise data platforms and software businesses. During his career, he led the development of Oracle Discoverer at Oracle, served as Chief Product Officer at Informatica, and later founded and led StreamSets as Chief Executive Officer before its acquisition by Software AG and the subsequent sale of that business to IBM.
"I've spent my career in data, and I've seen a lot of moments hyped as turning points. This one is real," Pancha said. Krishnamurthi has held senior technology leadership roles across several major enterprise software companies. As Chief Technology Officer at Informatica, he contributed to the evolution of modern data integration. He later led Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Purview at Microsoft before joining Google as Vice President of Engineering, where he oversaw Data Integration and Governance services while advancing AI-native architectures.
