VMRay today announced the launch of the VMRay Sovereign European Cloud, a new SaaS solution that delivers scalable, advanced threat analysis while guaranteeing full data residency and operational control within Europe. This offering is particularly designed for European organizations in critical infrastructure, government, financial services, and healthcare sectors that require strong protection against extraterritorial legal demands, such as the US CLOUD Act.
The VMRay Sovereign European Cloud bridges the gap between on-premises deployments and cloud-native architectures. It combines the simplicity and scalability of SaaS with rigorous sovereignty guarantees by running on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
The platform ensures complete separation through physical and logical isolation from global cloud regions. All data processing, administration, and support are handled exclusively by EU-based personnel. Governance is managed by a company incorporated in Luxembourg, keeping operations under European legal jurisdiction and shielding them from foreign legal outreach.
The underlying infrastructure holds a BSI C5 attestation and aligns with the emerging European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme for Cloud Services (EUCS), providing verified compliance for high-security environments.
