ReasonLabs, a global cybersecurity company specializing in scam and identity theft protection, has partnered with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) to support Scam.org—a new AI-powered platform built to educate, detect, prevent, and respond to scams worldwide. ReasonLabs contributes its threat intelligence, scam detection expertise, and technology from its Mozo anti-scam product to strengthen the platform's verification and prevention features. Building a Global Defense Against Online Scams

Online scams have grown into a major cybercrime industry, exploiting messaging apps, social media, email, and websites to target billions of people. The collaboration integrates ReasonLabs' capabilities into Scam.org—developed by GASA with support from OpenAI and other cybersecurity leaders—to create a centralized resource for scam awareness and action. By sharing insights into evolving fraud tactics, malicious infrastructure, and large-scale campaigns, ReasonLabs helps accelerate identification and disruption of scam operations.

"Online scams have evolved into a global industry targeting billions of people across messaging apps, social media, email, and websites," said Andrew Newman, CTO of ReasonLabs. "No single company can solve this problem alone. By partnering with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance and contributing our threat intelligence and Mozo scam prevention technology to Scam.org, we are helping build a global defense network that empowers people to identify and stop scams before they cause harm."

Mozo's Role in Scam Prevention

ReasonLabs' Mozo product delivers practical, user-friendly protection by analyzing suspicious communications across multiple channels. It uses AI-powered scanning combined with global threat intelligence to flag potential scams early, preventing engagement with malicious content and reducing the risk of financial or personal data loss.

Scam.org serves as an accessible hub where individuals can verify suspicious activity, report incidents, learn about common fraud patterns, and find guidance in their native language. The platform's timing, just before the United Nations Fraud Summit in Vienna, underscores the urgent need for collaborative, technology-driven responses to increasingly advanced online fraud.
