The capacity expansion is a strategic response to the rapidly evolving scale and sophistication of cyber threats. Attackers are increasingly leveraging AI-driven tools and sophisticated botnets to launch complex, multi-vector campaigns that are harder to detect and mitigate. Radware's H1 2025 Global Threat Analysis reported an 85% increase in network DDoS attacks compared to the first half of 2024. Modern campaigns are not just about raw volume but also target applications with high-request-per-second (RPS) assaults like HTTPS floods. The upgraded DefensePro X platform, coupled with Radware's AI-powered web DDoS protection, is engineered to provide accurate detection and mitigation of these highly disruptive application attacks—exceeding 50 million RPS—while preserving legitimate traffic.
