AI3 Counting Camera: Revolutionizing 360° Surveillance and Analytics

The AI3 Counting Camera stands out as a single-device solution for high-traffic environments, eliminating the need for multiple sensors or overhead cameras. It delivers edge-based people counting, demographic segmentation, queue analysis, and dwell-time monitoring, all powered by advanced AI analytics. This SaaS-integrated tool supports seamless PoE installation and multi-site dashboards, allowing businesses to compare traffic patterns and performance across locations for data-driven decisions in IT and security operations.

"This is more than a counter or sensor," said Peter Strom, President and CEO of March Networks. "The AI3 offers complete situational awareness, powerful analytics, and cost savings—removing the need to install separate counting sensors and overhead cameras."

Paired with Searchlight Cloud, the AI3 converts foot traffic data into actionable intelligence through customizable visual dashboards, real-time alerts, and historical trends. Key capabilities include accurate conversion tracking via POS integration, employee exclusion tags for precise demographic analysis, and video-backed context for every insight, making it ideal for optimizing operations in dynamic retail and transit settings.

"What makes the AI3 stand out is how it helps our customers connect the dots between what's happening on the ground and what it actually means for their business," said Jeff Corrall, Chief Product Officer at March Networks. "It's built for busy places—whether it's the holiday shopping rush or a packed transit terminal—and gives marketing, operations, and security teams the insights and protection they need, all from a single 360° camera."

AI Smart Search Enhancements: Precision in Video Investigations

Complementing the AI3 launch, March Networks is highlighting upgrades to its AI Smart Search tool, designed for rapid and accurate video investigations. Unlike traditional filters based on attributes like clothing color, this generative AI system processes natural language queries across all cameras and locations, delivering high-confidence results with visual confirmation to minimize false positives.

Recent improvements boost processing speeds, introduce scalable architecture for extended storage, and enable smart notifications for saved searches, ensuring automatic alerts on new matches. These features streamline workflows for security teams, reducing investigation times while enhancing efficiency in enterprise video surveillance.

"AI Smart Search dramatically reduces investigation times," said Corrall. "It's one of our most powerful tools for security teams and operators looking to protect assets and improve efficiencies."

Additional Innovations at GSX 2025

March Networks is also introducing several complementary products to bolster its intelligent video surveillance ecosystem. The Video Wall offers seamless multi-screen management via Command Enterprise for centralized monitoring. The AI5 Mobile Dome Camera provides rugged, compact surveillance tailored for transit applications, while the CS5+ (CloudSight) and EL5 ATM Camera ensure discreet protection for ATMs and covert sites.

Further enhancements include RAID Grow for flexible NVR storage expansion, Attribute Search in Command Client for querying by vehicle type or apparel, CloudSight Expanded On-Camera Storage extending edge retention to 90 days, and Real-Time Face Recognition for instant identity validation. These SaaS-compatible solutions empower organizations with scalable, AI-enhanced tools for comprehensive security and business analytics.

Attendees can explore live demonstrations of the full portfolio at March Networks Booth 1527, showcasing how these innovations drive actionable intelligence for diverse industries. As businesses increasingly rely on AI video surveillance to integrate security with operational efficiency, March Networks continues to lead with open-platform solutions that adapt to evolving IT needs, fostering smarter, more secure environments worldwide.
