The escalating speed and volume of cyber threats demand a new paradigm of defense that operates autonomously and in real-time. CrowdStrike has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to bring always-on, continuously learning AI agents to the forefront of cybersecurity. This partnership aims to deploy autonomous agents that can defend critical infrastructure across cloud, data center, and edge environments by leveraging the combined power of CrowdStrike's security expertise and NVIDIA's AI computing platform.
CrowdStrike and NVIDIA are collaborating to develop always-on AI agents for cybersecurity.
The agents will use NVIDIA Nemotron models and CrowdStrike's Charlotte AI AgentWorks.
The goal is to enable real-time threat detection and response at the edge.
The solution allows for local inference, helping to maintain data control and sovereignty.
It integrates CrowdStrike's security platform with NVIDIA's accelerated computing infrastructure.
The collaboration supports the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design for high-security use.
The collaboration is a direct response to the evolving threat landscape. By deploying AI agents built with Charlotte AI AgentWorks and powered by NVIDIA's technology stack to the edge, organizations can place autonomous, learning defense systems closer to where data is created. This enables real-time response to threats and continuous improvement of detection accuracy without the latency of cloud-based analysis.
George Kurtz, CEO and founder of CrowdStrike, stated the critical need for this technology, saying, “AI is transforming cybersecurity, and defenders need speed and edge intelligence to outpace the adversary. Addressing AI-driven cyber threats requires AI to protect systems from the speed and volume of attacks, and we're working with NVIDIA to deliver autonomous, AI agents that learn continuously to defend the critical infrastructure powering the global economy.”
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, emphasized the shift in defensive strategy, noting, “Cybersecurity in the era of AI demands intelligence that thinks at the speed of machines. Together with CrowdStrike, we’re building real-time, AI-driven security agents that defend cloud, data center, and edge infrastructure – protecting the systems that power our economy and national security.”
The joint solution involves unifying CrowdStrike's Agentic Security Platform—including its data and analytics tools—with NVIDIA's accelerated computing and CUDA-X libraries. This creates a high-fidelity telemetry pipeline that feeds enriched security data directly into locally hosted AI models. These models, built and optimized with the NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit, can then learn, reason, and act within defined enterprise guardrails at the edge.
This architecture is designed to meet the stringent requirements of regulated industries and national security. The collaboration supports the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design, providing a blueprint for federal and high-assurance organizations to build and deploy these AI agents securely on-premises and in hybrid cloud environments. This partnership represents a significant step towards an autonomous cybersecurity future where defense systems can adapt and respond to threats as quickly as they emerge.
