Real-Time Defense Against Phishing Threats

Dashlane’s AI phishing alerts tackle the growing sophistication of phishing attacks, with 74 percent of IT leaders noting AI’s role in increasing password security risks. The feature analyzes 79 phishing indicators, such as hidden login forms and concealed iFrames, to identify malicious domains instantly. "Defenders have to match the speed of attackers if they're going to be successful in this AI era," said Christophe Frenet, Chief Product Officer at Dashlane. Unlike traditional rule-based filters, this AI model adapts dynamically, offering a robust defense against both known and emerging threats.

Privacy-Focused and Enterprise-Ready

The phishing alerts operate on-device, ensuring complete privacy protection for users. This approach eliminates the need for external data transfers, addressing critical security concerns. "For security teams that are strapped for resources, combating the rise of AI-enabled phishing campaigns can feel like a daunting task," said Joanna Chen, Chief Information Security Officer at Dashlane. The feature integrates with the Dashlane Smart Extension, closing shadow IT gaps by monitoring credentials across unmanaged applications, a common vulnerability in traditional password management systems.

Building Phishing-Resistant Enterprises

Dashlane’s AI phishing alerts strengthen the Omnix platform’s ability to manage credential risks proactively. By providing real-time alerts and actionable insights for administrators, the feature empowers enterprises to mitigate human-related vulnerabilities. This launch builds on Dashlane’s recent advancements, including FIDO2 security key support for passwordless authentication and passkey protection via confidential computing, reinforcing its commitment to phishing-resistant solutions.

Dashlane’s AI-powered phishing alerts mark a significant step in combating AI-driven cyber threats, offering enterprises a scalable, privacy-focused solution to protect credentials and enhance security.
