Pond's appointment arrives at a critical moment for Socure as it scales operations of its AI-powered decisioning platform, RiskOS, to a growing customer base across diverse verticals. These include financial services, fintechs, banks, workforce platforms, big tech, social networks, and e-commerce. With more than 3,000 enterprise customers across 190 countries—including 18 of the top 20 banks, 130 major government agencies, and 600+ fintechs—Socure is positioning itself for continued expansion.

A Proven Track Record in Fintech Marketing

Pond brings extensive experience from high-velocity companies within the fintech and financial services ecosystem. He most recently served as CMO at LoanPro, an API-first credit platform, where he positioned the company as essential core infrastructure for banks, credit unions, and fintechs. During his tenure, he launched the Salt Flats Summit, an invite-only executive forum that gained viral attention as "Fintech Burning Man." He also co-founded Fintech NerdCon, a community-driven event for fintech operators. Prior to LoanPro, Pond was an executive at Truv, where he drove 300% year-over-year revenue growth. His background includes key marketing and sales roles at MX, Lucid, and HealthEquity.
